Zanzibar Tour

Zanzibar is an archipelago about 86 km long and 39 km wide. It’s formed by two main islands, Unguja (commonly known as Zanzibar) and Pemba, as well as several smaller islands including Mafia, Chumbe and Mnemba Island.

The population is approximately 1 million, with the official language Kiswahili. About 98% of the population are Muslims, the other 2% are Christians or Hindus.

Zanzibar’s International Airport lies about 5 kilometres south of Zanzibar City (including it’s old quarter of Stone Town, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.).

Tourism and spices are Zanzibar’s main industries. Zanzibar is often still referred to as the Spice Islands due to the production of cloves, nutmeg, pepper and cinnamon.

Day 3: Market Experience & Traditional CookingBegin your day of exploration of the best of Zanzibar foods when you meet your informative and friendly guide at Darajani Market where you will pick fresh ingredients.On this day, you will gain deeper insight into Zanzibar cuisine, people, & culture during a cooking class and local market tour from Darajani Market.We designed this hands-on experience for food lovers, so from this tour you will explore and learn Zanzibar cuisine in more depth than you would by simply eating in restaurants
Day 4: Mnemba Dolphins & Snorkeling TripGo watch, swim with dolphins and explore the colorful reefs of Mnemba island during this day trip.Our boats leave muyuni beach, Matemwe daily for Mnemba trip, and our friendly and experienced snorkel guides will delight in showing and guiding you during the tripEnjoy the huge abundance of brightly coloured fish and marine life at the best snorkeling spot of Zanzibar.On the boat, you will be served delicious fresh tropical fruit; Banana, Mangoes, Pineapple, Watermelon.Take pictures on the stunning sandbank located near Mnemba Island (only during the low tide).After the trip, you will have delicious seafood lunch time at Muyuni beach, one among the best beaches in Zanzibar.Then, the driver will take you back to your Hotel
Day 5: Blue Lagoon Snorkeling & The Rock RestaurantOn this day, get ready to explore the tropical beauty of Zanzibar Islands during the day time.Explore the the school of colorful tropical Fishesand Starfishes by snorkeling at Michamvi Blue Lagoon.After Snorkeling, your seat will be ready at the Rock Restaurant. You will have your lunch and take some photos of this unique Restaurant.After the Rock Restaurant, you will go back have a rest in your Hotel.
Day 6: Spice Farms & Stone Town TourOn this day, you will explore by testing, smelling different spices grown and used in Zanzibar cuisines.Enjoy a delicious local made Spiced rice lunch at the Spice farm; including fresh fried fish and fruits like banana, Mangoes, Pineapple etcLearn the History of Zanzibar and Stone Town with a local professional tour guide by visiting most iconic buildings like House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury House, Former Slave Market, Sultan’s Palace.Make photos and buy gifts for friends & family from the souvenir shops in Stone Town streets.After the trip, our driver will pick us up for the Airport based on your flight timing.
Day 7: Prison Island with Nakupenda SandbankPick up from the Hotel after finishing your breakfast, the driver will be waiting at the reception.This will be a full day boat trip to Prison Island and Nakupenda sandbank near the stone town coast.Witness and take photos of the Aldabra giant tortoises in the Prison Island. And learn the short history of the Prison island.Sandbank relaxing, Swimming & Snorkeling at natural made nakupenda sandbankEnjoy the best fresh seafood barbeque; Octopus, Lobsters, squids, Calamaris, at Nakupenda sandbank.Exotic fresh fruit tasting like Banana, Watermelon, Pineapple, Mangoes, papaya and so on.After the trip, driver will pick you up to Hotel
Day 8: Departure DateOur driver will come to pick you up on time from your Hotel to the Airport/ Ferry based on your flight/ ferry timing.
